Beacon Ensemble is a Boston-based chamber ensemble dedicated to crafting engaging narratives through exciting performances of 20th and 21st-century music. We focus on providing opportunities for early-career musicians and artists in New England and beyond, offering them chances to engage in commissions and participate in meaningful, career-enhancing projects.

In its premiere 24/25 season we saw the implementation of two events. Our first event, New Beginnings, shared a program featuring works that represented the initial undertaking of a journey. This event showcased how particular works of art could create an initial spark of resilience and faith that reaches out across the ages and inspires countless to follow suit. Our second program, Transfigured Night, represented human connection and a season where we find ourselves coming together for warmth, love, and tradition. Exploring how this search for connection bonds us in our communities and cements our faith in one another.

Beacon Ensemble is a fiscally sponsored project of the Beacon Hill Friends House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides opportunities for spiritual deepening, personal growth, and collective action.
